ASM Hockey Group is seeking energetic, outgoing individuals to join the Street Team & Marketing Internship program for the upcoming season. This hybrid role blends grassroots fan engagement with behind-the-scenes marketing department support to help grow the Wolves and Madhatters brands both in the community and online.

Interns will represent the team at home games, promotional events, and community appearances, while also assisting the Marketing Department with content planning, digital promotions, and strategic outreach. This internship is ideal for students interested in sports marketing, fan engagement, or live event promotion.

We are looking for energetic, outgoing individuals with a positive, can-do attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow within the sports and entertainment industry. In addition to the duties and objectives listed above, interns will have the opportunity to gain exposure to various departments and entities within ASM Hockey Group.

The ASM Hockey Group internship program is designed to provide an educational, skill-building, hands-on experience. A key component of the program is the opportunity for interns to earn college credit through their academic institution.

Status and Rate of Pay:

Your status will be part-time as an intern or volunteer, with no employee benefits. This is an unpaid position. You will receive academic credit through your current university or institution for this work-based learning experience in collaboration with ASM Hockey Group and your school. If you are not eligible to receive academic credit, or if your university does not grant credit for internships, this opportunity will automatically be classified as a volunteer position. If you have any questions about your eligibility for academic credit, please consult your university advisor, internship coordinator, or course professor.

🔑 Key Responsibilities:

Street Team & Fan Engagement

• Represent the team at off-site events, including tournaments, sponsor activations, festivals, and watch parties

• Assist with setup/teardown of signage, promotional tables, marketing booths, and giveaways

• Interact with fans by distributing promo items, facilitating games/contests, and sharing ticket information

• Support game day operations by helping with in-arena fan activations, Kids Club tables, and sponsor promotions

• Collect fan data and complete post-event recaps to support lead generation and marketing analytics

Marketing Department Support

• Help brainstorm and execute digital campaigns for ticket promotions, theme nights, and sponsor activations

• Assist in scheduling and creating social media content (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.)

• Support content planning around special events, holidays, and league initiatives

• Distribute flyers and marketing materials in local communities and partner locations

• Track promotional inventory, help organize storage pods, and assist in managing marketing assets

• Contribute ideas and content for email newsletters, giveaways, and fan contests

🧾 Qualifications:

• Outgoing, friendly personality with a strong desire to engage with fans

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Comfortable working on your feet and outdoors at high-energy events

• Strong interest in marketing, fan engagement, or sports promotions

• Familiarity with social media trends and fan engagement strategies is a plus

• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and assist with event setup and teardown
