The ASM Hockey Group is seeking a Photo/Video & Sports Media Intern to capture and create content for the West Chester Wolves.
This role focuses on live game coverage, photography, and video production, while incorporating sports storytelling and journalism as a supporting element.
Interns will work directly at games, practices, and events, capturing content used across all team platforms.
Location: West Chester, PA – West Chester Wolves (PNY Sports Arena)
Semesters Available:
Fall Semester (September – December)
Spring Semester: (January – April)
Summer Semester: (May - August)
Full Hockey Season: (September - April)
Key Responsibilities
Capture photos and video during games, practices, and team events
Edit and deliver content for social media, website, and marketing use
Assist with short-form content creation (Instagram, TikTok, X)
Support live game coverage, including content capture and postgame materials
Write game recaps, captions, and short-form stories (supporting role)
Conduct basic interviews with players, coaches, and staff when needed
Help plan and schedule content around games, events, and promotions
Maintain organized photo/video archives and content libraries

Skills & Qualifications
Interest in photography, videography, or sports media
Basic understanding of camera equipment (DSLR/mirrorless preferred, not required)
Familiarity with Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, or Premiere Pro is a plus (training available)
Strong work ethic with ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Interest in sports storytelling or journalism (supporting role)
Organized, reliable, and willing to learn new skills
Minimum Requirements
Currently enrolled in a college or university (Journalism, Communications, Photography, Media, Marketing, or related field preferred)
Ability to work evenings and weekends for games and events
Reliable transportation to PNY Sports Arena and off-site events
Status and Rate of Pay:
Your status will be part-time as an intern or volunteer, with no employee benefits. This is an unpaid position. You will receive academic credit through your current university or institution for this work-based learning experience in collaboration with ASM Hockey Group and your school. If you are not eligible to receive academic credit, or if your university does not grant credit for internships, this opportunity will automatically be classified as a volunteer position.
