INTERNSHIPS
Our internship programs are structured similarly to traditional college courses and are available during the spring, summer, and fall semesters—as well as a full-season option for those seeking a more extended experience. Interns will gain hands-on experience in the sports and entertainment industry, participate in guest speaker sessions, engage in community volunteer events, and receive mentorship from professionals across our organization.
ASM Hockey Group welcomes applicants currently enrolled in accredited colleges or universities. All participants must receive academic credit for their internship through their institution. If a student is not eligible to receive credit or their school does not offer credit for internships, the position will be considered a volunteer role. Please consult with your academic advisor or relevant faculty to confirm eligibility for credit.
This is an unpaid opportunity and does not guarantee future employment with ASM Hockey Group.

Mentor Program
Each intern will be paired with a dedicated mentor who will serve as a key resource for support, learning, and professional development. Mentors will be available for shadowing opportunities, answering questions, offering guidance, and providing overall career advice throughout the internship experience.

Hands On Experience
Interns will gain meaningful, hands-on experience by actively contributing to day-to-day operations within their department. From assisting with game-day execution to supporting team logistics, marketing, or media efforts, interns will play a real role in the success of their host team while developing practical skills for a future career in the sports industry.

Get-Togethers
Each semester, interns will have the chance to connect and network with one another outside of the work environment. These events may include lunches, local hikes, watch parties, and other team-building activities.

Community Events
Interns will have the opportunity to volunteer at community events alongside their host team and players. This hands-on experience is a key component of the internship, offering valuable insight into the important role sports teams play in supporting and engaging with their local communities.

Networking
Throughout the semester, interns will participate in a variety of programs and educational sessions featuring guest speakers from different departments within the organization, as well as professionals from other sports teams. These sessions offer a behind-the-scenes look at the industry and provide valuable insights into a range of careers in sports and entertainment.

Graduation Presentations
As the semester wraps up, interns will put together a fun, reflective presentation to share their experiences with the group. It’s a great chance to highlight what you’ve learned, showcase your favorite projects, and celebrate your growth with fellow interns, mentors, and supervisors!
