ASM Hockey Group is seeking Box Office Interns for the upcoming season. Interns will assist with game day operations at the box office, including ticket sales, distribution, will-call coordination, and guest relations. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.
We are looking for energetic, outgoing individuals with a positive, can-do attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow within the sports and entertainment industry. In addition to the duties and objectives listed above, interns will have the opportunity to gain exposure to various departments and entities within ASM Hockey Group.
The ASM Hockey Group internship program is designed to provide an educational, skill-building, hands-on experience. A key component of the program is the opportunity for interns to earn college credit through their academic institution.
Status and Rate of Pay:
Your status will be part-time as an intern or volunteer, with no employee benefits. This is an unpaid position. You will receive academic credit through your current university or institution for this work-based learning experience in collaboration with ASM Hockey Group and your school. If you are not eligible to receive academic credit, or if your university does not grant credit for internships, this opportunity will automatically be classified as a volunteer position. If you have any questions about your eligibility for academic credit, please consult your university advisor, internship coordinator, or course professor.

🗓️ Internship Terms Available:
Fall Semester: September – December
Spring Semester: January – April
Full Hockey Season: September - April
🔑 Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the sale and distribution of game day tickets
Provide support to patrons and staff with ticketing issues and questions
Follow procedures for internal, group, and comp ticket requests
Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and responsibly
Support the Box Office Manager and Sales staff as needed
Ensure a welcoming and professional experience for all fans and guests
🎟️ Qualifications:
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Basic knowledge of point-of-sale systems and cash handling
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Comfortable working nights, weekends, and game days
Previous experience with ticketing systems is a plus but not required
Interest in sports, live events, or hospitality is preferred
